SAVE BOXTED WOOD JOINT WORKING COMMITTEE

 

The first inaugural meeting of the Committee was held on the 19th May 2009.
14 Representatives of the following Parish Councils were present.

Stebbing Parish Council (Uttlesford district)
Rayne Parish Council  (Braintree District)              
Great Bardfield Parish Council (Braintree District)                 
Shalford Parish Council (Braintree District)     
Great Saling Parish Council (Braintree District)                        
Felsted Parish Council (Uttlesford district)

           

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the proposed development of Boxted Wood by Galliard Homes and the possibility of development of adjacent land by the Andrewsfield New Settlement Consortium.

This meeting agreed to form the Save Boxted Wood Joint Working Committee which at present is made up of Parish Councillors from the local Parishes.
